All A4R products share a unique and common design base, consisting of re-usable electronic and mechanical elements, to facilitate and accelerate custom designs : the ‘A4R’ Architecture for Ruggedization’.
IRTS’ extensive A4R product portfolio allows for tailoring a solution to suit the exact needs of the application and of the operational environment. 
Our philosophy is quite simple: each functional module fits into a common, expandable and scalable architecture. By using the A4R architecture, we don’t start at the beginning, we can start in the middle of the development process, saving you time and money.
As such, the A4R architecture comes with a number of benefits: it allows for rapid prototyping, it can be easily expanded and upgraded, it is future-proof and it is very cost effective.

The A4R multifunction displays (6” to 24”) incorporate the latest generation processors for use in demanding tactical- and digital mapping applications. In stand-alone applications, by adding Internal GUI firmware, the display can be controlled via onscreen menu selections, using the resistive touch screen and/or function keys.

With their thin body and light-weight design, the 50-series of 17” to 24” displays are packed with features: convenient front controls, wide dimming range and viewing angle, an anti-reflective protective front and a sealed, fan-less mechanical structure.
